Pink sunset

Just a quick photo of our pink sunset out of the window. It is light until about 6pm now, which is so nice after having a long, dark winter when it was dark at 3pm. Roll on summer, when we've got nearly 24 hours of daylight!!

Helen,
That is a beautiful picture. Oh my I wouldn't like all that darkness either. However I didn't realize at some point you will have almost 24 hours of daylight...that is wild.

Have a great weekend.

So pretty! Must be good to know that spring is on the way. The cherry trees are getting teeny tiny buds on them here now, so I'm looking forward to cherry blossom season.
BTW Laura S got engaged! They're planning a November wedding. All very scarily grown up.
Hope you have a great weekend x

I find the long daylight hours of summer really wearing. I like it to be dark when I sleep.

But these signs of spring in the longer daylight hours around now are very welcome. That is a lovely photograph.

A beautiful picture of sunset. 24 hours of daylight? If that would happen here back here in our Country I don't think I would last the heat that our daylight brings.

The colors in this photo are magnificent. And I know exactly what you mean about how nice it is to have a bit more light. But I can't imagine having so much daylight in the summer!

This is my first visit to your blog, I found you at Connie's. I love this picture ... and the fact that sun is staying up longer for us, too. I'm in the American Midwest. When I lived in Chicago I experienced the sun setting before 5 p.m. and never could get used to it. Of course, I don't know if I could get used to nearly 24 hours of daylight either! Looking forward to exploring your corner of the internet more ...
